6 week update

Check out that wingspan!

He likes to look at everything going on around him. He is a very observant baby. What a cute little man! Check out his shoes :)

Kilroy was here

He has found his hand. He's even starting to open it up so he can just get fingers in there now.

The expression that we are most familiar with...

Baby blue

How cute is he in the outfit that Aunt Karen bought him?!
This is his Heisman pose.

First smile on film

Hear no evil...

I just thought this one was cute

Same with this one

Easter fun!

Family photo: Is it just me or does Dave seem disproportionately larger than everyone else?

Dave's dog, Taylor, is confirmed to be disproportionately larger, but that is her life story. And, apparently, she likes babies. (I'll admit I was a little nervous while this inspection was going on.)

"Whoooo are you?" or "Man! That candy is sour!"

Evan took his first road trip last weekend. I wouldn't call it a complete success but, he didn't cry the entire time, so that's not bad. He was upset for about an hour on the way up because he was wet and hungry at different times (we changed him and fed him as soon as we got the chance). Then it was kind of the same thing on the way home. Cried when he first got in the car. Cried when he pooped himself. Cried as we got near home because he was getting hungry again.
Easter, itself, went pretty well. He slept through most of dinner and was pretty well-behaved, just crying when he got hungry. His little outfit was adorable- he was a little prepster. We didn't get a ton of pictures of him in it, but we'll make sure to dress him up and get some more. He really liked visiting his Grammie and Grandpa JJ (his great-grandparents). It was also nice to be able to introduce him to the O'Briens and the New Washington Robertson's. He got to show off his new found ability to smile. He made his first trip to the fire station, too, and got to see the new trucks. He thought they were really cool (he actually slept during most of the trip). He also got his picture taken in Uncle Dan's helmet. I'm working on getting that picture up.

Finally took a bottle and pacifier!

He's chilled out enough to hang out in his Boppy without screaming.

He can't rival Maia, but he's got enough hair to style.
The faux-hawk goes well with his sideburns.
Now I don't have to be on call because he'll take a bottle from Kenny.
